“Barnyard Friends”

Elders are excited to see and pet the different barnyard animals that employees Andy Daniels & Kayla Crockett brought in during “Farm Day” of National Nursing Home week (May 13-19th). The special visitors included, chickens, ducks, dogs, and a miniture horse. The gossip around the home today was about chicken-n-dumplings, waking up every morning to the rooster crowing, the possibility of riding the miniture horse, and why a cow was not brought in!! “Farm Day” activities also included farm bingo games, a “corn-y” game of cornhole, and milking a cow. Wow, everyone also had a time trying to “milk” Ole’ Bessy! We look forward to more visits with the animals!
