“All Children’s Eve”

All Hallow’s Eve, from which the name Halloween was originated, could have been called “All Children’s Eve” here! Around 225 children visited our home for the annual ritual of receiving treats. It was one of our busiest Halloween events in recent history. Many of our elders had the pleasure of giving out the treats. Among the children were residents’ grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Each child was welcomed with sweet smiles and sweet treats. One elder said that a child wished her well and that she would get well soon!
