Foothills Festival Parade

“Honoring our Heroes” was this year’s theme for the Clinton County Foothills Festival Parade.
In recent months, the focus of our community has ben on the contributions of our native heroes. Lt. Garlin Murl Conner’s posthumous awarding of the Congressional Medal of Honor by President Trump, and PFC Joe Elmore’s remains returned to his family 60 years after the Korean Conflict. These events reminded our community of the legacy of devotion to country given by our citizens.

Several of our elders got a front row seat at the festival! Each year they enjoy being a part of this festive occasion. This year was no different. In our eyes, many of them are heroes in their own way.
